This listing is for a fun budget deck for the casual commander player.  Get a bunch of pirates into play and start building up treasure & stealing your opponents stuff!  Below is a complete decklist broken down by card function so you can get a closer look.

Designer Notes:  Ideally you'll play some low cost pirates with flying or menace early on, then play your commanders and start triggering their effects for gold and stealing your opponents cards.  A few of your cards will introduce the Monarch mechanic to the game, but you do have a lot of evasive hard to block pirates so you can take it back on your turn.
