    I found this
    HUGE
    piece of bark submerged in a river in Nebraska. No idea how long it would have been laying down there in the river. It probably will have amazing color when carved.
    It still has a little sand & maybe some small pebbles in places.
    Dimensions are approximate:

    Widest is about 5-1/2 inches
    Thickest is about 3 inches.
